Charivari relics and Tokens
The term charivari relates to collected animal parts, tooth, bone, antler, tusk, talon, fur, as well as other charms (both silver and mineral) worn on silver chains to adorn lederhosen and dirndls for ceremonial, celebratory, hunting, and even warfare.
The tradition derives from the ancient Germanic Gothic tribes like Visigoths, Ostrogoths, and Vandals. These tribes sacked Rome and contributed to the fall of the Roman Empire, occupying the entire European realms - they are still there.
